"A trophy is all in the eye of the beholder."

Meet Ron Fleming

As an outfitter it’s a great feeling where you can take somebody from a totally different environment, and take him into the wilderness, and get him to relax and unwind.

Ron was born and raised in the Prince George area, on a farm in a logging community.  As far back as he can remember, his passion was hunting, trapping, fishing, and being in the outdoors.

Getting into outfitting was a career decision he made over 50 years ago and he hasn’t regretted it for a minute.  The fun he’s had, the people he’s met, the friends he’s made, and the places he’s visited have made it all worthwhile.

In 2019, he and his wife Brenda were awarded one of the highest honors in the industry when they received the Frank Golata Award from the Wild Sheep Foundation as the most outstanding outfitter in North America – an outfitter’s dream come true.

Ron has always wanted to ensure others have the chance to enjoy this same lifestyle so has volunteered his time to serve on many boards and organizations to enhance wildlife, habitat, and the proper use of this incredible resource.
